Malika`s journey with the utility and power sector started in 2009 at Muscat Electricity Distribution Company. It was preceded by a short stage of planning and surveying at the Ministry of Housing in the Sultanate of Oman. She has held many positions since joining MEDC, starting from GIS editor of systems, Head of GIS Apps to the Operation Technology Manager. During the years of her experience in MEDC, she has accomplished many achievements, like establishing the smart systems program for maintenance management using GIS. Recently, she led the MEDC team and won the award for one of the best GIS applications in the world.
