Eng. Yaqoub Al Shamli received the M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He specialized in power systems and energy engineering. He is currently working for Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) as Network Operation Application Support Section Head at Load Dispatch Center (LDC), Muscat, Oman. LDC is responsible for operating and monitoring the OETC's licensed transmission system in a reliable, secure, and economical manner. Yaqoub Started his career journey with OETC in 2011 as a control shift Engineer. He demonstrated a history of successfully operating electrical power networks from 33kV up to 400kV. Al Shamli has additional experience in Energy Management systems, Wide Area Monitoring Systems, and Power System Stability. He participated in many conferences and published papers.
