Abbas Al Lawati has a MSc in Construction Projects Management from Liver John Moores University and Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, with 9 years of experiences concentrated mainly around project delivery in areas of project management, contracts management, lean practitioner, and information management.

Power standards and technology PDO
In previous years, many cable terminations failed due to different reasons and cascading a lot of power outages resulting in oil & gas deferment. The team introduced a new digitized cable termination system where it covers the cable termination across PDO and record each cable termination per area and the cable jointer details . Also, having proper training and assessment is one of the success criteria in improving the cable termination activities as it tackle the cable jointers as well as training course & material evaluation. The new application called ETPM , ETPM is a web-based central repository application in which cable termination data is stored and managed. The aim of this new tool is to register all high voltage cable terminations and cable joints for KPI measurements and analysis. The 30%system resulted in reduction of cable termination failures and improving the provided work quality and therefore reduce the power outages due to cable termination by 30%

Mr. AI-Faraj was born in 1978 in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. He achieved his BS degree in Electrical Engineering, as a power engineer, from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2002. He worked as a project engineer for a couple of years. Currently, he is a Power Systems Engineer in Power Systems Planning Department at Saudi Aramco. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Al-Faraj was deeply involved in engineering research during his study at KFUPM and he is a coauthor of seven international research papers (all in transmission planning).

Supervise project which is the expansion of existing Asir station to
include one unit of one power block. The power block consists of the
following elements: one gas turbine, 3 compressors, 4 combustion
chambers, 5 air exhaust turbine, 6 generators and 12 steam turbine
generators, 10 parts as condensate pumps, heaters, etc. depending on
the design of the power block unit. The energy capacity is 70 MW and
over SR 120 million costs.
Supervise Contract for addition unit of Qunfuza generation plan
where the 40 MW energy capacity comprising one power block. it
consisting 1 gas turbine, 1 steam generators, and control systems,
together with balance of plant (transformers, cooling towers, air intel
chillers, export high voltage switchyard, water storage and water and
wastewater treatment facilities). The cost was over SR 70 millions
